Service Description

"That's just the way I am."  How often have you thought, said, or felt those words? Whether it's back pain, irritable bowel, headaches, sinus issues, sleeplessness, or any other host of symptoms, you are not meant to live that way. Maybe your physical body is 'fine' and you live in 'what ifs' - "what if something bad happens? (insert your own anxiety-provoking self-chatter here).  Well, what if "what if" meant something different?  WHAT IF? What if I told you it doesn't have to be that way? What if you didn't have those worries? What if it is actually possible to experience life without all the physical, emotional, mental baggage that you've been carrying around, sometimes for years? You are meant to live a healthy, thriving life. This course combines mindfulness meditation, body awareness, and yoga to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and more. The Program This is a 6-week program. Each week has specific topics that build upon each other. The Benefits Through an exploration of behavior patterns, thinking, and feeling, you will learn: -how your body truly works -how to live with non-judgmental acceptance of yourself -how to become curious and to experience present living -body sensations, behaviors/patterns, thoughts, emotions, motivations and memories, in order to reduce distress and improve well-being ​​ The Spring cohort will in-person for the duration of the course.
